One-Minute MBA: Lorry I. Lokey Graduate School of Business at Mills College

The tips are pretty much universal when it comes to the matters of MBA application.
Most importantly, you need to be authentic. Loads of Taiwanese applicants fail to pull this off.
The AdCom won't admit you simply because you said something pleasing (about yourself or the school) in your essays. You need to show them who you are and who you want to be. Think of your application as a business plan.

Know the program--another thing that most applicants are too lazy to do. Substantial research will help you know more about the school and whether you truly fit or not. Don't feed the AdCom with phrases from their marketing materials that you googled online. This will murder your chance of admission.

Acknowledging your non-talent (weakness) will prove your maturity and self-awareness. So don't be afraid to address them in the essay or recommendation letters. Stop using the cliches like being workaholic and over-demanding. It's phony and weary in the eyes of the AdCom.
